I love Bird of Paradise flowers. Something about their awkward beauty and grace. I love how they burst from their pods and announce their presence in brilliant color. I have attempted to photograph these flowers several times in the past with mixed results. But this project made me focus, made me think through all the angles and possibilities. The resulting photo is my favorite Bird of Paradise picture I have ever taken.

Day Three
